Pam is my inspiration. I, too, was molested when I was 8-9 years old back home in Beaumont, Tx. But my parents were very conservative and married. My father was an alcoholic til I was 7 years old when he decided to get sober.
I truly loved Pam's story. She's almost a year now!!!! Wow! I hope she's doing well. And I'm glad to see that her boyfriend, Marvin, quit also. That's the only way to recover is that both don't do the drinking. I'm glad my husband doesn't drink either, because it would have been way too hard...WAY TO GO, PAM!!!

reminds me of the suffering i caused to myself and others. something, i often forget. and the joy and excitment that came with early sobriety
